PETALING JAYA: Two men were killed following a shootout with the police at the Tanjung Malim rest stop along the North-South Expressway (NSE) says Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan adding that a team consisting of personnel from Bukit Aman and Perak CID were trailing a car at about 11.32pm on Saturday.

Shootout with cops
Realising they were being followed, the suspects sped up and entered the NSE. The police gave chase and managed to corner the suspect at the Tanjung Malim rest stop. The suspects fired several shots at the police forcing police personnel to fire back. Two male suspects were found in a pool of blood in the car and died at the scene following the shootout.
