The suspect who stole a Honda City car from a gas station in Semambu, Kuantan, along with the vehicle owner’s mother last Monday, has been successfully apprehended by the police.
Car theft at gas station leads to arrest
Pahang Police Chief, Yahaya Othman, stated that the suspect in his 40s was caught while sleeping in a house in Kampung Chinta Manis, near Bentong, approximately 160 kilometers from Kuantan.
The Honda car was later found in a parking area near a market in Karak town. The suspect has a past criminal record involving narcotics and crime, and had previously escaped from police custody, being released just last year.
