Malaysia’s Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik faced disappointment at the Indonesia Open as they were ousted by Chinese Taipei’s Lu Ching-yao and Yang Po-han in the second round. Despite being seeded fifth, the duo struggled, losing 16-21, 14-21 in 38 minutes.

Indonesia Open woes

This early exit raises concerns as it precedes their final tournament before the Olympic Games in Paris. Wooi Yik acknowledged their shortcomings and vowed to refocus on training.
