The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) is closely monitoring profiteering activities through OPS KESAN 2.0 in response to industry statements about service price hikes following the diesel subsidy targeting that began on June 10, 2024.
KPDN OPS KESAN
This operation, which started on June 8, 2024, involves strict enforcement based on the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Regulations 2011. KPDN will investigate viral social media claims, focusing on sectors excluded from the Subsidized Diesel Control System and those never eligible for subsidized diesel. Notices will be issued to prevent unjustified price adjustments, ensuring compliance under the 2011 Act.
