The man seen in a viral video fighting one on one against another man in a store is a a black belt master in taekwondo. he is also the convenience store owner located in Penang. There have since then been a few other videos of the man who got a beating uploaded on social media.

The man. with the surname Wu, a taekwondo champion, subdued a drunk troublemaker at his Seberang Jaya store. Despite rejecting a coaching offer, his skills proved vital. The scuffle, captured on video, led to both parties’ arrests. Wu started learning the Korean martial art at the age of 17. In 1996, he was crowned the Penang champion in the International Taekwondo Federation competition. Two years later, Wu briefly served as a substitute taekwondo instructor.
