Others add that if a Singaporean teacher teaches English to Malaysians, they would instead learn Singlish. The comment appears to be unfair towards our neighbouring country as there are a lot of Singaporeans who speak proper English.
Some users state that there is a lack of demand for English teachers in Malaysia as most people would prefer speaking in Bahasa Malaysia. Hence, the demand for a foreign language is significantly less.
