The divide between those who support the government and opposition is rising. Apparently, an opposition supporter claims that it is “haram” to eat the meat of a cow that was in yesterday’s “korban” if it was done by a government supporter. Netizens are finding this claim to be ridiculous.

X users find this to be extremely weird and they fear a distortion of the country’s majority religion may be happening in lieu of peculiar opposition leaders. Furthermore, some claim that if a mosque is situated in a “liberal” state, those from the East Coast would not pray there.
Others joked that for individuals like that, they would think that once they’ve died, they would be asked what party they have been supporting all this while.
