Cheapo woman with RM400,000 refuses to pay RM30 bill
The fake receipt closely resembled a genuine one, showing an account balance exceeding RM400,000. After pretending to scan the restaurant’s QR code, she swiftly left, leaving the cashier puzzled.
The restaurant reported the incident to the police and urged vigilance against such scams. As cashless transactions grow, verifying every payment remains crucial.
