SINGAPORE: Significant progress has been made in cleaning up Sentosa’s beaches after an oil spill on June 14. The spill occurred when a Netherlands-flagged dredger collided with a stationary bunker vessel, leading to oil leakage. Since June 15, over 140,000kg of oil-soaked sand has been removed from Sentosa’s Siloso, Palawan, and Tanjong beaches.
