A viral video on TikTok shows that a woman is visibly scared of a dog walking around inside a shopping complex. Netizens find it to be a normal reaction as the Muslims in the country tend to avoid them in lieu of the ablution needed if they were to touch one.

Netizens state that some malls in Malaysia are now pet-friendly. They speculate that this is in fact one of the malls that allow cats and dogs inside it. Others fear the sanitary aspect of the mall as these animals may have a call on nature while they’re in it.
Some add that it is the customer’s choice if they were to enter a pet-friendly mall as there are plenty of other malls that are not pet friendly.
