They questioned the credibility and independence of the think tank, given its foundation by former premiers Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, both now aligned with the opposition. PH supporters doubted the accuracy of MASA’s findings, which cited high dissatisfaction due to unresolved issues by the Madani government. MASA reported the lowest satisfaction among Malays at 27%, with 52% believing the economy was worsening.
