Veteran DAP leader Lim Kit Siang has rejected author Romen Bose’s claim that he attempted to “rebuild the Chinese population” during the Pakatan Harapan administration in 2018. Bose made this assertion in his recently launched book, “Shattered Hopes.”

Lim responded, stating that Bose, a former political consultant to Najib Razak, was making baseless claims. He emphasized that he hadn’t read Bose’s latest book but criticized him for writing without factual basis. The book also alleges that the Special Branch police monitored several DAP leaders, including Lim, under the pretext of “rebuilding the Chinese population.”
