KUALA LUMPUR, July 9 — Nur Alia Jannah, a student from Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Seksyen 16, Shah Alam, won Apple’s annual Swift Student Challenge on her third attempt. Inspired by Apple’s Worldwide Developers’ Conference, she learned to code using the Swift language and created her winning app, Tracklist.

The app allows users to review songs and share their music preferences, filling a gap in the market for music review apps. Despite initial challenges, including losing her app files, Nur Alia persevered with support from friends, family, and experts. Her dream is to work as a software engineer at Apple Park.
