IN a post on the X platform, former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak wrote that he is someone who knows about ‘oil’ perhaps hinting that he should be consulted. On that day he lost his bid to get house arrest from the SRC International sentencing, he posted on X that it was a sad day. But since then, Najib seems to have recovered from the failure to get house arrest.
Orang Minyak Najib
In the X post this time, Najib wrote: “Najib tahu lah. Dia orang minyak, dulu kerja Petronas.” Orang minyak is also used for thieves who apparently oil their bodies to go on a rampage while bare-naked. The reference to ‘orang minyak’ got an X user to say ‘orang minyak’ who stole RM2.6 bil, in a reminder of the famous episode of the money flow into Najib’s bank account amounting to that figure in 2016.
