KUALA LUMPUR, July 16 — A RM1 million luxury serviced apartment in Setia Alam awaits the national athlete who wins Malaysia’s first Olympic gold at the 2024 Paris Games. Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh announced that property developer Top Residency offered this reward through the Road To Gold (RTG) committee.

Additionally, Senheng Executive Chairman Lim Kim Heng pledged RM1 million for badminton players Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik and Chen Tang Jie if they win gold. These incentives are on top of the RM1 million reward under the National Sports Incentive Scheme (Shakam), with silver and bronze medalists receiving RM300,000 and RM100,000, respectively.
