GEORGE TOWN: An anonymous donor has offered RM10,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of those responsible for poisoning over 20 dogs in Tanjung Bungah. At a candlelight vigil, volunteer Linda Yong urged anyone with leads to contact IAPWA Penang or MBPP.

Yong and other residents expressed their grief and called for greater government action, including establishing a local DVS branch. Despite DVS claims of finding no poison traces, residents demand transparency and accountability. The Tanjung Bungah Residents’ Association has called for patrols to apprehend those placing poison, as the community mourns the loss of beloved pets.
