PEKAN – Crowds began gathering at Kampung Nyiur Manis Muslim Cemetery from 4 PM for the funeral of Nur Farah Kartini Abdullah, 25. Besides villagers, her friends from Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI) attended to pay their last respects.

However, the media was barred from entering the cemetery by her brother. Nur Farah Kartini’s body was transported from Sungai Buloh Hospital, Selangor, at 2:05 PM in a UPSI hearse, accompanied by police and family. The burial is scheduled for 5 PM. Her mysterious disappearance on July 10 was resolved when her body was found in an oil palm plantation in Hulu Selangor last Monday.
