Penampang: Police have detained two foreign women involved in a fight captured in a viral video at a supermarket parking lot. The second arrest was of a 25-year-old woman, the victim, who lacked valid identification documents. The fight allegedly stemmed from the victim’s affair with the suspect’s husband.
Two Foreign Women
The arrests were made by separate police teams. District Police Chief, Superintendent Sammy Newton, said the first arrest involved an 18-year-old foreign woman seen assaulting the victim in the video. The case is being investigated under Sections 323 and 506 of the Penal Code for causing injury and criminal intimidation, and under Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act for lacking valid permits.
