Recently, an X user claims their US visa applications were rejected in lieu of them being a content creator. However, this is an alleged claim as it is unclear what the actual grounds of rejection is. Furthermore, the user claims to have spent RM888 for the visa application process.

However, others state that the reason could possibly be that the individual was not employed by a corporate firm. Some users claim that this is how the United States is cracking down on illegal immigration as if someone is attached to a company it is a lesser risk for them to overstay their visa.
