With the whole world going through a form of inflation, it is to no surprise that everything is a lot more expensive now than it was a decade ago. An X user states that eating out at a normal restaurant in KL can set someone back at least RM20, and this is at a more affordable location.

The same user claims that in Kelantan the meal would cost significantly less than it would in Kuala Lumpur. However, it appears that other cities in the country may be going through the same thing as our capital city.
Others suggest eating at home more and splurge occasionally on expensive food which may cost less in the long run.
