Tragedies can strike unexpectedly, even in safe places like hospitals. On Wednesday (Jul 31), a pregnant woman in her 20s lost her life after falling from the third floor of Lahad Datu Hospital in Sabah, reported Harian Metro.
Pregnant woman falls to death
Lahad Datu district police chief Assistant Commissioner Dzulbaharin Ismail stated the woman was admitted for aggressive behavior. Despite efforts to restrain her, she managed to fall. The 33-week-old fetus was pronounced dead, and the woman succumbed to her injuries on Aug 1.
The case is classified as sudden death with no criminal elements found. Our condolences to the victim’s family.
