The creators, Mohd Khairianwar Jailani and Tan Meng Kheng, face charges for offending religious sentiments, and have requested the High Court to review constitutional issues regarding their case. The film was banned in August 2023 under the Film Censorship Act and had been shown publicly without proper approval. The High Court will review the case on October 24.
