A viral TikTok video shows that a man claiming a popular Jewellery store in Malaysia overcharged his mother for a transaction. Apparently, his mother wanted to upgrade her bracelet and went into their trade-in program. But, she realised the receipt showed a different charge.
Man claims jewellery store staff allegedly stole RM700
Netizens add that it would be wise to make a police report. The man claims that the sales person was dumbfounded and did not give a proper response as to the price difference in the receipt. The man adds that there was a RM700 price difference in the receipt, and a charge for a ring that was not received by his mother.
Furthermore, the brand responded with a TikTok post stating their apologies to the masses. The sales person was placed under administrative leave and that they’re investigating the matter.
