On X users are discussing the fact that nasi lemak is actually a neutral food. You can have the halal version or the non-halal version. But, it appears that there are social media users being vehemently unhappy towards the situation and state that this is meant to be a strictly halal food.
Netizens say nasi lemak babi is not disrespectful
A user then adds that those opposing should simply let those who are allowed to eat non-halal food, should be left to do so. Netizens add that there are dishes that were ruined by some, and nobody else complains about that.
Others add that the real disrespect is when cheese is added to the dish. For the most part, many can agree that cheese has their limits when it comes to being in dishes.
