Kuala Lumpur: The cockpit voice recorder transcript of the Beechcraft Model 390 (Premier 1), N28JV, which crashed in Elmina, Shah Alam last year, reveals the harrowing final moments of the pilots. Released yesterday by the Air Accident Investigation Bureau, the transcript shows the pilot’s escalating panic as they communicated with Subang control tower while approaching Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.
At 06:48:56.9 UTC, a click sound indicated the activation of lift dump spoilers. A minute later, an alarm tone persisted, leading to frantic exclamations from the co-pilot. In the final seconds, intense warnings blared as the pilots screamed in terror.
