But it appears that Brik is one of the fastest rising brands in the country as customers are queuing for about five hours in order to purchase a bag.
The brand is apparently conceived by two sisters, and the designs are rather unique for the price point. However, you would not be able to purchase a bag online due to all of them being sold out. That’s how popular this brand is.
Brik bags rising in popularity
Currently, the resale prices for these bags are around the RM200-300 range on Carousell. Additionally, social media users upload videos of them queuing for the bag. Others who did not know about the launch felt it was a peculiar sight seeing so many customers of said brand.
For the most part, the reviews on their bags have generally been positive as customers are satisfied with their purchases. This is a sharp contrast to those who are purchasing bags from European designer brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel.
Harper’s Bazaar Malaysia even listed the brand as one of their recommended purchases. They state that there have been two drops from the brand. However, there could possibly be more coming soon.
