In Kuala Lumpur, the search and rescue operation for the missing Indian woman, Vijayaletchumy, who fell into a sinkhole on Jalan Masjid India, has yielded no results. The operation, conducted across six sewer tunnels and at the Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) Pantai Dalam sewage treatment plant, was halted at 7 p.m. and will resume at 9 a.m. today.

Dang Wangi Police Chief Sulizmie Affendy confirmed that the final two sewer tunnels were checked without finding any clues. The search will continue until the victim is located. The woman, 48, disappeared after falling into an approximately eight-meter-deep sinkhole.
