Right after the scandal they were embroiled in, Christian Dior, has decided to release a collection called “Miss Dior” that oddly looks like a diffusion line. The general consumers are relatively unimpressed with what they’re seeing, and this new collection does not resemble their current aesthetics.
Harper’s Bazaar states that the line is an homage to the past. Yes, the logo looks rather similar to the 1967 Miss Dior lineup. Additionally, they state that this collection is a “must have” to which an abundance of social media users vehemently disagree with. The prices of these items are definitely not on the cheaper side.

A basic flap bag with graffiti all over it would set you back around RM17,500. Currently, it appears that this collection is a seasonal one, which may lose its value significantly on the resale market in the coming years.
Granted, there are some pieces from this collection that are passable, but still, they do not resemble the brand’s aesthetics.
Unfortunately for the brand, TikTokers are using the “brother eww” audio with videos of the collection. Social media commenters state that this is giving “Love Moschino” which is an affordable alternative to the Italian luxury brand, Moschino.
Others state that “DH Gate,” the “yellow app” that one could allegedly purchase a counterfeit item from, is passing on this.
Regardless, the collection may be appealing to some as the aesthetics may match them. It may not be a “must have,” but if you really do not have any other choices available to you, then it would maybe be a yes for you.
