Two members of the Water Rescue Team (PPDA) from the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department faced a tense situation during an early morning dive in search of an Indian woman missing since a sinkhole incident on Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur.

Dive cut short

The divers, fully equipped in scuba gear, entered the hole at 3:06 a.m., closely monitored by the search and rescue team. After detecting an obstruction between the sinkhole and a second sewer approximately 80 meters away, the dive was cut short due to strong currents. They were quickly pulled out, decontaminated, and reported their inability to reach the blockage.
