HULU SELANGOR: A major accident on the North-South Expressway (NSE) caused severe traffic congestion. At 7:05 a.m., a collision involving two semi-trailers and a three-tonne lorry occurred at Km420.2, between Bukit Tagar and Bukit Beruntung. The crash, caused when a trailer was rear-ended and subsequently hit by a lorry, led to a 28km traffic jam northbound and 2km southbound. All drivers were hospitalized. By 1:53 p.m., lanes reopened, though traffic remained slow. Authorities are investigating under Section 43(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and have urged the public to share any relevant information.
