First-time dog owners JS and JC spent $60,000 on vet bills trying to save their dog. They bought the puppy in 2018 for $4,800, but soon discovered he had mites, infections, and rashes. After initial improvements, more health issues emerged, including an enlarged prostate and joint pain. In December 2022, the animal’s condition worsened, leading to unbearable pain and seizures. Despite surgery, he was left paralyzed and later suffered another seizure. Rushed to the hospital, Wangcai went into cardiac arrest. Despite resuscitation efforts, he sadly passed away, leaving his owners heartbroken and financially strained.
