615. GISBH Accused of Exploiting 402 Underage Teens in Charity Homes

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain revealed that children in charity homes linked to Global Ikhwan Service and Business Holding (GISBH) have been separated from their parents since the age of two.

Intelligence reports indicate that these children grow up entirely within these homes. Some parents are in Saudi Arabia and Turkey for five to six years, while their children remain in Malaysia. 

It is unclear if the parents were forced to do so. This situation falls under Section 31(1)(a) of the Child Act 2001. Razarudin urges anyone with similar experiences to come forward and assist in the investigation.
