Minister of Agriculture and Food Security Mohammad Sabu met with two former PMs at the MAHA show. The Minister posted videos on his X account showing the arrival of former PM Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi at the show. He later posted another video showing his meeting with a still-strong-looking Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. Badawi was the political figure who took over from Mahathir in 2003 in a rather unexpected resignation of the longest term PM. Abdullah is credited for the liberation of Anwar Ibrahim from jail in 2004.
