There have been a few reported incidents just this year alone in lieu with robberies mid flight. It is unclear if this is a planned group of thieves or just a singular incident, but social media users are now more weary on what they’re bringing on flights.
Man robbed mid-flight on low cost airline
The man states that he was on a flight from Ho Chi Minh to Kuala Lumpur, and he took a nap, as what most passengers do while they’re on a flight. Netizens suggest that passengers should lock their carry ons, regardless if they’re a small luggage bag, or a briefcase.
Another suggested that passengers should place their carry-on luggage on the opposite side of their seats, so they would have a clear view of their items.
