The National Registration Department (JPN) clarified that it does not provide any cash assistance, contrary to viral social media claims. In a statement, JPN said posts on TikTok about such assistance are false.

The public is advised to verify information on government financial aid through the official Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah portal (bantuantunai.hasil.gov.my). JPN urged caution and advised against clicking on suspicious links. 

For inquiries, the public can contact 03-8880 7077 or email pro@jpn.gov.my. Previously, viral TikTok accounts falsely claimed government assistance, garnering over 18,000 views and shares, and directing users to dubious links in their biographies.
