Coming from a modest background, her family couldn’t afford a large suitcase, so they used the sack to pack her belongings. Unfazed by the attention, she shared it was a common practice in her family. Her story caught the eye of Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek, who provided her with RM3,000 for her studies. UMS also pledged support for students like her, ensuring they receive the necessary financial and emotional assistance.
