The Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) has arrested 108 individuals linked to GISB Holdings Sdn. Bhd (GISBH) for various syariah offences, including faith-related issues, unauthorised charity collections, and marriages.

JAIS Director, Datuk Mohd. Shahzihan Ahmad, revealed that the suspects’ practices and beliefs contradict enforced fatwas. These include believing that leadership practices bring blessings and allow members to enter heaven, and practising Aurad Muhammadiah, believing Abuya is not dead but in the unseen realm.
Investigations also found that marriages and divorces were arranged by group leaders without valid documentation or permission from authorities.
