Kuala Lumpur police arrested 16 individuals linked to Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holdings (GISBH), including its CEO and his wife, as part of an ongoing investigation. This brings the total detained under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act (Sosma) to 58. Since launching “Op Global” on September 11, police have arrested 415 suspected GISBH members. Authorities are investigating organized crime and money laundering, with nearly RM19.9 million in assets seized or frozen. Additionally, 23 properties owned by GISBH, valued at RM52.4 million across 10 countries, are under investigation, with the help of Interpol.
