Optimus Robots
Elon Musk unveiled Tesla’s humanoid robot, Optimus, designed to perform a variety of tasks such as carrying packages, walking pets, babysitting, and even bartending. Musk suggested the robot’s future price could range between $20,000 and $30,000. During the presentation, Optimus demonstrated simple actions like waving, holding cups, and handing out gift bags. In a playful interaction, one robot played rock-paper-scissors with attendees, while others performed a choreographed dance in a gazebo. Though the robots’ capabilities are still basic, Tesla envisions Optimus taking on more complex domestic chores in the future, offering a glimpse of its potential versatility.
