A fiery accident occurred on the ELITE Highway near KM 44.5 when a lorry lost control, crashing into the opposite lane. The incident, captured on video, showed the lorry engulfed in flames before coming to a stop. The tanker, driven by a 53-year-old man, collided with a Proton Saga, causing the car to spin. Debris scattered across the highway, affecting two other vehicles, a Perodua Bezza and a Mazda CX3. Despite the dramatic crash, all individuals involved, including the Proton Saga driver and the lorry driver, sustained only minor injuries. Investigations revealed the tanker was en route from Melaka.
