Malaysian shuttlers Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani emerged as the men’s doubles champions at the Arctic Open today, concluding the tournament in Finland with a triumphant victory. Their impressive run included defeating China’s world No. 1 pair, Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang, earlier in the competition. In the final, Fei and Nur Izzuddin battled Denmark’s Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, coming from behind to win 15-21, 21-15, and a thrilling 21-19. However, Women’s doubles Pearly Tan-M. Thinaah stumbled at the final hurdle of the Arctic Open in Vantaa, Finland.
