A security guard, Mohd Rizal Aziz, 47, tragically died after being crushed by a fallen tree while riding his motorcycle in Kampung Bandar Hilir, Sik, Kedah. The incident occurred during heavy rain and strong winds as Rizal was returning home after visiting his sick mother. The Sik Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 5:58 PM, and about 20 rescuers worked to free the victim from the debris. Despite their efforts, Rizal was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to Hospital Sik for an autopsy, and the operation concluded at 7:13 PM.
