An X post shared by user @maderkauhijau shows a real problem that is faced by some communities in both Singapore and Malaysia. He states that the real estate website claims to not practise discriminatory methods, but unfortunately, the agents promoting their properties there allegedly might.

In a scathing screenshot shared by the X user, the agent informed him that his race was not “indicated.” The agent then offered another place for rent, at the steep price of S$3,400, which is over RM11,000.
Some users claim that agents may allegedly refuse to deal with some people of a different racial background. It is unfortunate as in 2024, we should give equal opportunities to people regardless of their racial backgrounds.
