Ahmad Farhan Othman, a 32-year-old Malaysian food delivery rider, died on duty on October 2 due to suspected overwork. Supporting his wife and three children, he held two jobs, working over 12 hours daily. 

Malaysian Delivery Rider’s Death Linked to Overwork

His wife shared how exhausted he had been recently. Ahmad worked from early morning until late night, balancing school runs, van driving, and food deliveries. A post-mortem revealed that 75% of his heart was blocked, likely due to overworking. 

Remembered as hardworking and caring, he often reminded his children to take care of each other. Ahmad’s family is seeking financial support.
