Youth-based political party Muda has become the first in Malaysia to release an independent audit of its fundraising for the December 2021 floods. Muda president Amira Aisya Abd Aziz emphasized the party’s commitment to transparency and accountability by using a third-party audit firm for its humanitarian efforts. Despite the difficulties, Muda completed the audit and will share the redacted report with donors, marking a significant learning experience for the party.
