Apparently, a viral story on social media is related to a bottle of mineral water being sold for RM10. It is common to see that in Kuala Lumpur from French and Italian brands like Evian and Aqua Panna. But, it seems that some stores are willing to sell generic ones for the same price.

Others complained that in concert halls, the organiser might jack up the prices to RM5 for a standard bottle. There are some instances where they’re selling distilled water for RM4. But, the justification for that is the venue rental is extremely high, and the prices of these commodities tend to increase.
