An X user suggests that sometimes individuals make such statements due to their less refined language skills. The user adds there’s no excuse for not wanting to improve and learn more. They feel there is always room for improvement.
Others add that it is good to have pride in our national language, but it is important to understand another language. Being proud of our language doesn’t mean that we should not explore learning others.
