Malaysia has offered two scholarships to Peruvian students for tertiary education in Malaysia next year. In a joint statement, Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Peruvian President Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra emphasized enhancing collaboration between education and training institutions.

This includes scholarships, qualification recognition, expertise sharing, and knowledge exchange. Anwar expressed gratitude for receiving the Order “El Sol del Perú” decoration. His visit to Peru, including participation in the 31st APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting, aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and Peru.
