The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) is investigating a public university student for allegedly selling explicit videos on X. BERNAMA reported that MCMC recorded the student’s statement after uncovering his activities through public complaints.

The student, who gained 100,000 followers, started by re-uploading pornographic content in 2021 and later sold his own explicit videos. He earned up to RM3,000 a month. MCMC seized a phone and SIM card during an inspection in Shah Alam. The student faces charges under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.
