The MACC has frozen the bank accounts of 30 Maple Sdn Bhd as part of its investigation into the FashionValet e-commerce platform. The investigation also covers a significant RM43.9 million investment loss by Khazanah Nasional Bhd and Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) in FashionValet. MACC Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed that 14 witnesses have been questioned, with more interviews scheduled. Additionally, MACC has frozen private bank accounts of FashionValet’s founders and company accounts worth RM1.1 million. In 2018, Khazanah and PNB invested RM47 million in FashionValet, only to later divest for a loss.
